Squish Gap Determination

The test of the squish gap is done in assembled state of head and cylinder. Insert a 2.0 mm solder through the spark plug hole until it touches the cylinder wall.  Then rotate the engine gently to the top dead center and a little more. Afterwards measure the hight of the squeezed Lot.

Note: You must measure four times: At the inlet side, right, left and the outlet side. A difference of 0.2 mm is possible because cylinder and head are alway decentered a little bit. Be sure not to insert the solder into a transfer port.
